Mark Raine

Nickname: "The Banker"

Un-excitingly nicknamed Rainey, and the clubs resident banker, Mark joined Rickmansworth from Chalfont St Giles in the late 1980's and has never looked back. A corner stone of the highly succesful 2nd XI of the 1990's, Mark is often good for a steady 50 when the game is dead and buried and was quick between the wickets 10 years ago. Once took 6-30 against Preston 13 years ago and so bowls himself, without success, most weeks. Mark has a reputation for being one of the club's more athletic cover fielders. Unfortunately no longer true.
