Neil Burdett

Nickname: "The Legend"

Part of the Burdett dynasty, Neil has been 2nd XI keeper since the 1970's, taking over from his legendary father, Bob, who kept from 1948 onwards. Neil has caught, juggled and dropped more catches than the rest of the team put together. He is reputed to have the longest legs in Hertfordshire and is a great pacer of an innings, often seeing the team to victory by marshalling the tail. Easily the heaviest run scorer since Archie retired, Neil has probably also played more games than anyone else in Ricky's history. Watch the 'Burdie'....
